The minutes o the May meeting were read and approved as read.
Kay Miner gave a brief discussion concerning the proposed re-
quest of the Planning Commission for additional funds for
epences and explained the advice of the City Attorney to
with hold this request, and make certain the new budget has
allowances.
Corr espondance:
An invitation to participate in the Klondike Festival to be held
in Seattle on July 9th.
Notices from Shoreline Management Committee,
letter from the Clerks office attached to a letter' from
Grady Cook requesting a variance to the City zoning Ordinance.
Because of a lack of information, this request will be held over
until the July meeting to allow the commissioners to view the
site of a proposed building.
letger from R. James Campbell requesting a rezone of property
at Taylor and Lincoln from R1 to R3 .
motion by 1.r. Johnson to hold public hearings on July 3l1 1972
and to give consideration at that time to the Cook request. 2nd
by Wojt. The hearings wi it be for
Mr. Watson, Victorian Air Co. , for a Conditional Use.
A and W Drive-in, for a rezone.
R. James Campbell for a rezone .
The public hearing and regular Planning Commission meeting will
be held at 7:30in City Hall using the newly finished Planning
Commission Room. Note 5 yes, 0 no.
Kafir wt made motion to ask the City Attorney to draw up a
proposed draft which would amend the ordinance to allow
Compression of Air to allow for recharging breathing; air for
divers as a Conditional Use in the Zoning Ordinance. 2nd by Diets
The secretary was instructed to contact the City Attorney.
Vote- 5 yes , 0 no.
Kay Wojt gave a brief report on possible variations of parking
and traffic flow in the uptown area commercial district.
The meeting was adjourned.
