Bob Johnson rade the motion to schedule a special meeting
by the Port o nse d P .ann ng Cor mi don for the purpose

of hearing the nd Port f Fort Townsend requests,1
and that this Special meeting take place on Monday, June .,

1972, in the jury room, Court Houses Seconded by Wojto
Vote 6 yes , o no. The secretary was instructed to prepare
the proper notices necessary to publi i e this Public
Hearing.

Kay Wojt made the motion that a letter be written to
the City Council in time for their next meet .n explaining
that due to the time schedule of the applic nt for 1404
Lawrence site) due to circumstances beyond his control,
and in the interest o expediting the process, the Port
Townsend Planning Commission will hold a special hearing
Jure 12, and requesting of the City Council to schedule
that Public Hearing on June 20, 1972. seconded by Johnson.

Mr. Loomis made the motion to also include the Port
of Port Townsend Re-zone request in this same June 12
hearing. seconded by Diets* vote 6 yes. The secretary
was instructed to include this request in the public
gearing notices also.

amount of $500.00, far the funding of Public hearing and

discussion of his intent. A motion by Mr. Johnson t
recomimend to the City Council to look with
sympathy on the appliantl ocernig his request, but
that the Planning Commission is unable to recommend granting
variance under the teras of the present ordinance;
but that we do recommend to the C tyto ammend the zoning
ordinance to include Compressed Air for Divers" s a
Conditional Use. seconded by Wojto Vote 5 yes, May no.
