The following represent questions on points to consider further with regard to the
raps
1. In colour coding, what constitutes commercial; commercial recreation.
. Question of location of new elementary school.
a. Will population development area go further west and north.
b. Boundaries too close to existing Lincoln school.
• Lagoon area.
. Shopping center plans
b. Recreation area around lagoon for parking, picnicing.
. Maintain green belt area along highway entrance to town,
S. Question of parking area for ferry. Should it be north of Water Street instead
of south and west of ferry dock.
. Consider relocation of Memorial Field east of San Juan Avenue at north end or
in fairgrounds location.
. City Hall. Recommend it be renovated where is and further development of plaza
concept. (This also supported by the public buildings sub-committee and histori-
cal sites submcommittee.) Add wing if necessary, Question of vacation of Madison
Street as part of plan.
