The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Correspondence was read regarding the 701 program from the Dept. c Commerce & Economic Development. Marylou stated that Mike Switzer made a motion to the City Gouncil that the City adopt fire and building codes which was passed. Street vacations were discussed , Mrs Lloyds case in particular , and the Plaiming Commission members are to try to inspect his property before next Council meeting and give their recommendations* Glen Abraham was asked about Pte Hudson. He stated that the appraisal at fair market value by a competent appraiser was very low because the lease on the property and that the details were pretty much as reported in the Leader. Miry lohnson made a motion seconded y Harry Diets for the planning Commission t write t the Fort Commission approving the sale Pt.Hudson subject to stituatio that Sale Contract contain conditions which would include completion of plan and protection of public interests. Owd. Bob Clark f Clark,Colem n & Rupeiks , stated that the next phase will complete the comprehensive plan and gave in deteil what it includes The progress report toad of the economic analysis , bldgo permit history, parking survey� measurement and tabulation of all commercial �� o r space and a questionaire of merchants in the comrounityo Mr. Clark stated that the preliminary plan should be ready to submit to the community by September or October* Harry Diets parade the motion, seconded by Gus Lindquist that the 't.' . Planning Commission adopt the 3rd phase and to send in to the state along with Warrant. Cwd. map of places of historical preservation was turned over to Mary Johnson for her committee to work on and to present tt the May meetinge The State Arts Commission will meet at Mary Johnson' s home on April 7th and she issued a blanket invitation to the Planning Commission to attend. It is a public meeting she stated. Mike Switzer reported that trees are blowing down and breaking in Sather ark* The agriculture agent is to check on the trees and Mike will report back to the Planning Commission* The next meeting will be April 24th.
