Mombers present : Nbarwylou Grcon,Phil Copps , Frod Lostor and
Harry Diets.
Tho minutes of tho previous mocting wero read and approved.
Mrs. Grcon gavo a report on the 701 program stating that no
money had been rocoived as yet from the govt. IL telogra
from Sonator Tackson was read advising that our requost was
under review. Two letters from Congressman Toad vierc road
advising our 701 appli ation had boon fors ardod for priorty
hearings, A letter from Clark, Coleman & Rupoiks was road
stating that federal funds viould bc lowor this year for thio
701 program and onclosing form letter to bo sent to Senators
and Con re smon asking for more funds.
rs. Green read tho roport to the Mayor and City Council
listing the three proposals recommended by tho Planning
Commission*
Mrs. Green gave a report on the Governor' s Qonferenco which
was held June 3rd and 4th in Se ttlo and YLi oh she attond d.
The main omphasis was on hog to accomplish aims and purposcs
of tho oonforenoe and how to ovorhaul tho tax situation a d
havo more local control and broador taxing posers.
