FAGS TWO MINUTES of MAY 2 , 1977
SoT IAT oA
The public hearing scheduled for this meeting was cancelled.
At the Workshop meeting this month it was determined the rough
draft being considered was not adequate to fit the needs of Port
Townsend and it would be necessary to develop another one. The
Steering Committee scheduled a tentative meeting for June 2,
contingent upon the availability of city Attorney Glenn Abraham.
The Commissioners learned that the City Council will hold a public
hearing on the Mobile Homes proposal, at their next meeting.
In view of the extensive work to be done on the city Zoning Ordi-
nance update, Density Zoning, Short Plat Ordinance, and other
important matters and, in view of the limited time the Commission
can expend on thea, the Commissioners feel they will need help to
expedite some 6f this work. Their lengthy discussion probed into
all possibilities which might be available to them, including a
part time City Planner, or an Intern from one of the schools,
The meeting was adjourned.
