Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory
Board Minutes of the November 5, 2015 Meeting City Hall 1st Floor Conference Room
Call to Order - The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. Board members present were Jolly Wahlstrom, Scott Walker, Pat Teal, Mike Kaill, Hendrik Taatgen, Richard Dandridge, Sally Chapin, Mark Henthorn and Lys Burden. City Engineer David Peterson and Deputy City Clerk
Joshua Stecker was present from City Staff.
Approval of Minutes - The minutes of the October 1, 2015 meeting were unanimously
approved.
Grant Street Trail – Jolly Wahlstron will contact Tyler Johnson to coordinate mapping out the
trail location. The trail project was scheduled for January 23, 2016. Scott Walker and Lys Burden will make the Board’s Grant Street survey available to the School District.
Staff Update – City Engineer David Peterson updated the Board on the upcoming Howard Street project and thee need to divert an existing trail during construction.
Budget request – Scott Walker will email City Council to request funding for maps, gravel and
rack cards.
Trail Projects – The next project will be to spread gravel near the Choate’s property on
November 21, 2015. Public Comment – Robert Gray updated the Board on recent Council General Services and
Special Projects meetings regarding advisory boards. Next Meeting - The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on December 3, 2015.
Adjourn - The meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
