GENERAL CONDmONS

1. Contractors working on this project are required to have a Labor & Industries contractor's rel!istration
nUIDber and a City business license. Failure to provide proof of this docuIDentation prior to work IDay
result in job shut down while this is accoIDplished.
2. TeIDporary erosion and sediment control (TESC) _ores shaD be installed on-site and inspected prior
to beginninl construction; caD 385-2294. Measures shaD indude instaUation of silt fencinl and Iraveled
construction entrance. Adjacent rilhts-of-way shaD be kept free of dirt & debris. Soils exposed durinl
construction shaD be teIDporarily stabilized with mulching, plastic sheeting, ete. Soils shaD be
perIDanentIy stabilized with seedinl, plantings, soddinl, ete. once construction is complete. Applicant is
responsible for protection of adjacent properties.
3. AU e1eIDents of enaineerinl induding nailinl, holdowns, sheathing, and alternate braced wall panels
(ABWP) require inspection prior to cover.
4. Owner or owner's agent shaD review and oversee correction of any and aD deficiencies noted by required
inspections.
5. Re-inspection is required after inspection report corrections are completed.
6. The Builwnl Department is unable to pass final inspection on your project until Public Works
requirements have been completed and inspected. For Public Works inspection caD 385-2294. A
IDinimum of twenty-four hours notice is reouired. Public Works aooroval must be received orior to
sebedulin2 the Builwnl! DeoartIDent's final insoection.
7. Final Inspections are required prior to occupancy. A Certificate of Occupancy is required for a non-
residential project.

8. AU building permits espire if no progress has been IDade within six months, or if no inspections are done
by the Building Department within one year. CaD for at least one inspection per year to keep your
buildinl permit active.
9. Revisions require review and approval prior to makinl chanles in the field. Contact the Buildinl
DepartDlent at 379-3208 prior to making chanles to the approved plans.
10. POST Tm~ PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
