1 . Special Inspections required by UBC 1701 (concrete, reinforcement, welding, etc.) to be
performed by Washington state licensed engineers or inspectors with ICBO certifications for
type of inspection executed. If inspector is NOT listed on "WABO REGISTER" proof of ICBO
certification to be presented to Building Official PRIOR TO ANY Special Inspections.
2. Owner or owner's agent shall review and oversee correction of any and all deficiencies noted
by required Special Inspections. All Special Inspections shall be copied to the Building Official.
3. Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control measures to be installed per approved plan and
inspected PRIOR to any construction work.
4. Basement slab to address spill control measures per Fire Department Memo tlated Jan 15,
1997.
5. Approved Street DevelopmenUUtility Digging permit required PRIOR to Framing Inspection.
6. Framing: East exterior wall is 1 Hour Fire Resistive construction due to proximity to property
Tine (Includes soffit and facia).
7. Insulation: Garage, tube bays and basement are UNHEATED.
8. Vapor Barrier is not specified but required in heated spaces. Use either kraft- faced insulation,
4 mil polyethylene or WSEC apporved vapor barrier paint.
9. Drainage: 1) Drainage ditch installed past 3rd Street with culverts accross all street crossings
and driveways (see note on approved plans); and 2) McPherson Street requires a drainage
ditch on both sides.
10. Obtain Final Publics Works signoff and Final Fire Department signoff prior to scheduling a
Final Inspection by Building Department. Occupancy prior to Final Inspection requires a
Temporary Certificate of Occupancy(TCO).
