SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
1 . CONTAMINATED SOIL: In the event contaminated soil is found, all work shall cease. The
contrector shall contact the Ctty Building Department immediately and request a site visit by
the Building Official. No contaminated soil may be removed prior to the vLSit by the Buikting
Official. In the event contaminated soil is found, a remediation plan shall be submitted for
approval to the Building Offidal regarding method of disposal, stoGcpiling of contaminant and
appropriate Gean-up practices. All activities shall be consistent with City Ordinances and the
Department of Ecology Standards, WAC 173-380 for removal and disposal of contaminated
soils.
2. TESC: Construction dust shall be kept to a minimum to avoid impact to neighboring
properties. If dirt and debris is traGced onto adjacent rights-of-way, contractor shall
immediately install erosion control measures which may inGude installation of a construction
drive-off mat, fire wash and/or sweeping of paved surfaces.
3. DEMOLITION: Demolition materials shall be disposed of in areas off-site meeting all
qualifications as set forth by state and local law and other government agendas.
4. FOOTINGS: Inspection of pump islands required
5. SLAB: See item d!5 on PES scope of work (attached)
8. PLUMBING: Pressure test required for gas tines
7. FINAL: Electrical inspection by State required prior to Building Department final
8. FINAL: Fire Department Approval, see memo dated 11/20188
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made wthin six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Buikting Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
