The intensity of the rain has necessitated using water stored in Lords Lake during periods of high river turbidity. Overall we have been able to refill the reservoir since it reached its low point at the beginning of November. Lords Lake was at 19' 4" this morning, with approximately 240 million gallons of water. City water use averaged 669,666 gallons per day over the past week days, 10,992 gallons higher than the previous week. The City Council will consider rescinding the emergency water supply declaration at the December 7t" council meeting. Thanks to your conservation efforts this year's unprecedented drought did not have a significant impact on our community. 2015 Port Townsend Water Consumption&Lords Lake Reservoir Level 2.000.000 40.0' 570 MG 1.800.000 500 MG 35.4' 1.600.000 a o _ 400 MG 30.0' m 1.404.000 — c 0 O c 25.0' 0 1.200.000 see MG E R L'7 N c 1.400.000 20.0' 800.000 200 MG ctS c Q1 11 600.000 Q1 -CI1y Weer USe(gprn _ 10.4• > J 3: 400.000 —msakaerean m Y t 200.000 a o.o' \I4 ` O n\0 1 O I\O yL O O O OO pO geO y 0 4 O O\O O\41f,\^y1^aO 0 %\ h^ ,\5O^ ,\b h\, \,\ 0 $\' O^ Oo ry11 O Water conservation tip of the week: Ensure irrigation systems are winterized by draining the lines to prevent lines from freezing and potentially breaking.
