Plan details are available at https://weblink.cityofpt.us/weblink/0/doc/118749/Page1.aspx
City water use averaged 882,555 gallons per day over the past seven days, 21,474 gallons less
than the previous week. Lords Lake is at 27’ 5”’ today, with approximately 375 million gallons
remaining in the reservoir. Last week we added 9” to Lords Lake when we received several
days of precipitation however, this week we have drawn the reservoir down 6”. River diversions
are supplying 5.2 million gallons, which have decreased each day this week as streamflows
continue to decline with the drier weather.
Water conservation tip of the week:
Don't leave the faucet running while doing tasks that only need a small amount of water. Wet
the toothbrush and use a glass for rinsing when brushing your teeth. Fill the sink with a few inches of water and rinse your razor in the sink instead of under running water. Clean
vegetables in a stoppered sink or pan of water. Clean the car using a pail of soapy water and use the hose with a spray nozzle only for rinsing.
