Lords Lake level is at 28’ 4”’ with approximately 400 million gallons remaining in the reservoir.
With a little rain overnight the Big Quilcene River was supplying approximately 1.5 million
gallons per day today or about 12 percent of total demand. City water use averaged 1,295,225
gallons over past seven days, 70,631 gallons more than the previous week.
Water conservation tip of the week:
Be mindful of the water you put down your drain. Approximately 5 gallons of water is wasted if
you leave the faucet on while brushing your teeth. If you prefer a cool glass of water, store a
pitcher of water in the refrigerator instead of letting the tap run every time you fill your glass.
Capture rinse water that could be reused for watering plants.
