This department made site inspection on this date for the above-referenced proposal at the request of Pacific
Environmental, with Don Olin of Pacific Environmental present.
Jurisdiction is derived from Section 7902.6 of the Uniform Fire Code, 1997 Edition and this departments
"plan review memorandum" dated 20 June 2001:
1. 1. The installation of piping, valves and fittings was found consistent with the requirements of code under
Section 7902.6.3 and this department's plan review memorandum item 12.,and; use of compression fittings
[pipe-clamp type) for fuel-line piping with knurled pipe ends was noted as consistent with ANSI B31.3
standard for installation, by Pacific Environmental, and therefore is acceptable by code, and;
i 2. Piping, valves and fittings were witnessed under pressure-testing for tightness, as was conducted by
Pacific Environmental, and to be inspected by independent contractor consistent with manufacturer's
standards and Code Section 7902.6.16.2. Copies of said tests are on record with this department, and;
It is the administrative determination of this department that the subject piping, valves and fittings are hereby
approved to backfilled and covered on site by Pacific Environmental Co.

CONTAMINATED SOIL
In the event contaminated soil is found, a!! work shall cease. The
contractor shall contact the City Building Department and request a
site visit by the Building Official. No contaminated soil may be
removed prior to the visit by the Building OJjciaJ. In the event,
contaminated soil is found, a remediation plan shall be submitted for
approval to the Building Official regarding method ojdisposal,
stockpiling of contaminant and appropriate clean-tip practices. A!!
activities shall be consistent with Cily ordinances and DOE
standards for removal and disposal of contaminated soils.
TEMPORARY EROSION/SEDIMENT CONTROL
Construction dust shall be kept to a minimum to avoid impacts to
neighboring properties. If dirt and debris are tracked onto adjacent
rights-of--way, contractor shall immediately install sediment control
measures that may include installation ofa construction drive-off
mat, tine wash and/or sweeping ofpaved surfaces. Refer to approved
plan details attached to Street and Utility Development Permit
tJSDP01-036.
DEMOLITION
Materials from demolition shall be disposed ojin areas off=site

other government agencies.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Re-inspections are required after any corcections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required.
4. All Building Permits expire if no progress has been made within six months or, if no
inspections have been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least
one inspection per year to keep your permit active.
5. Revisions require review and approval prior to making changes in the field. Contact the
Building Department at 379-3208 prior to making changes to the approved plans.
6. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
7. A final inspection and Certificate of Occupancy is required prior to occupancy.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. Contractors working on this project are required to have a Labor & Industries contractor's re¢istration
• number and a City business license. Failure to provide proof of this documentation prior to work may
result in job shut down while this is accomplished.
2. Temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC) measures shall be installed on-site and inspected prior
to beginning construction; call 385-2294, press 3. Measures shall include installation of silt fencing and
graveled construction entrance (see attached details). Adjacent rights-of--way shall be kept free of dirt
debris. Soils exposed during construction shall be temporarily stabilized with mulching, plastic sheeting,
etc. Soils shall be permanently stabilized with seeding, plantings, sodding, etc. once construction is
complete. Applicant is responsible for protection of adjacent properties.
3. All elements of engineering including nailing, holdowns, sheathing, and alternate braced wall panels
(ABWP) require inspection prior to cover.
4. Owner or owner's agent shall review and oversee correction of any and all deficiencies noted by required
inspections.
5. Re-inspection is required after inspection report corrections are completed.
6. The Building Department is unable to pass final inspection on your project until Public Works
