Funding Support:
Operation Goat Rocket is requesting support for a summer theater workshop for young performers (age
6-13). MOTION: LO moves that we fund up to$800 for printing costs associated with their summer
program, 2nd by EF. DISCUSSION: LO noted that the free workshop helps her get behind this request.
Questions arose regarding whether the theater youth camp is different than the theater workshop.
Who would be served and in what age groups? How many days/sessions would be offered? EF
mentioned that they should have a "Pay What You Can" statement at the door if they are going to
charge admission. Further discussion about these questions led us to decide to wait until June's
meeting to revisit the application. SR will contact the applicants. MOTION withdrawn by LO.
Public Art:
EF reports that we are in the public feedback phase of the Uptown public art process. There has been a
substantial amount of feedback forms received so far. The Leader has been contacted by EF to try to get
something in the paper. The deadline for feedback is May 22. The ASP will meet again on May 281H

the word out regarding feedback forms.

Necessary easements are in the works and a plaque is underway. SR agreed to keep up with
developments after KM leaves town mid-May. KM reported that Mr. Angell will be here for the
unveiling.
DG agreed to follow up on the "How to Clean the Salish Sea Circle Sculpture"video as well as the Angel
of the Arts video that has been recently updated.
The Wave Gazing Gallery plaque has been seen by Frank Vane. SR has also seen the plaque. SR wants
